August became a month of success for Solana. The network’s ecosystem expanded: TVL rose by 15%, active users reached 2 million, and daily transactions exceeded 25 million. The main event was the launch of the second generation of the Solana Mobile Seeker smartphone. The first version of the Solana Phone in 2023 was more of an experiment. But the second model came with support for dozens of apps right at launch, a built-in wallet, an NFT marketplace, and direct integration with dApps. Users can buy tokens, play Web3 games, and interact with DeFi directly from the phone without third-party applications. The market reacted positively to the new release: sales exceeded expectations, and SOL’s price rose by 12% in August. Analysts believe that Solana is taking a step toward mass adoption of Web3, turning the smartphone into the main tool for interacting with the decentralized economy.
